JAIPUR
It is also renown as “Pink Cityâ€, a capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur, a city of victory, actually built 273 years back, and it is situated 262 km away from Delhi (capital of India). It was the first planned city, which was constructed in 1727 by Swami Jai Singh –II. Jaipur was planned by a Bengali architect, named Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, in a planned system with wide roads, streets, avenues and lanes. He also implement uniform row of shops on a side of main bazaars, and due to these planned and grid architecture, city becomes an attractive creation of universe.

Jaipur district is situated in the east of Rajasthan state. East and North area of Jaipur is surrounded by Arawali hills. It is also known for fairs and festivals, in every festival, people decorate jaipur as a bride, with flowers, colors and lights. On the occasion of Holi, there is a festival in Jaipur, known as a “Elephant Festivalâ€, in which elephant get dress up and body get painted with floral decorations, one more most attractive activity of this festival is “Elephant Poloâ€.   13. KANAK VRINDAVAN - (6.5 Kms on the way to Amer) This newly restored temple and garden, near Jal Mahal, has beautiful gardens and is popular picnic place.
