BIKANER
: it is situated on the north west of the state of Rajasthan. The name Bikaner is a combination of two names and it derived from Bika and Nehra. It is located 330km drive away from the capital of state. i.e. jaipur. It was founded in 1486 by Rao Bika with the help of Nehra Jats, and after that, it was developed as the fifth largest city in Rajasthan. Bikaner is mainly famous for sweets and snacks.

Bikaner is also renowned and it is a center of Usta art. Bikaner is rich in culture and it is one of the famous and renowned cities of Rajasthan for music and art. The famous people in art and music section, comes from Bikaner region, in other hand, the roots of Usta art, also in the Bikaner. Folk music makes Bikaner, world famous, and makes it stand up as a reputed city, all round the globe. The fairs and the festivals of Bikaner, shows the richness of culture and traditional heritage of city.

Bikaner is world famous as a tourist destination in Rajasthan. It is also famous for the camel ride and due to which it’s known as camel country. There are many attractive places in Bikaner to the point of tourism. Like – Junagarh Fort- this fort is special attraction for the tourism. It is constructed in 1593 by Rai Singh.this fort is located at 700 high from the sea level. It is one of the huge monuments in Bikaner and Rajsthan as well, which can be located or visible from anywhere from the city. It has massive contruction, 986mt wall and 37 citadels and two entrances. The fort is decorated with ornaments and glass work from inside. Major attractions within the fort are- Hawa Mahla, Diwan-e-Khas, Badal Mahal, Anup Mahal, Phool Mahal, Dungar Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Rang Mahal and Ganga Mahal. Laxmi Niwas Place- , Lalgarh Palace- this is another attractive place in Bikaner, it is situated in outskirt area, this palace built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the memory of his father. This fort has imposing balconies and gates. Inside the fort, there is garden, full of numerous flower beds and peacocks. Maru Nayak Ji, Laxmi Nath Temple, Bhandasar Jain Temple, Mukam Temple, Kolayat, Karni Mata Temple, Shiv Bari Temple, Camel Festival and Gangashahar.
